A distillation of grapes with a scent of aniseed, the Tsipouro of Loukatos Bros bears an indelible stamp of the Greek tradition. A tsipouro(raki) that is balanced, soft in mouth that stands out for its pleasant flavor and long aftertaste.
Region: Achaia
Characteristics: This is a strong grape pomace distillate similar to that of grappa. Originally introduced in the 14th century by the monks at Mount Athos. Chilled or not, it can be enjoyed best with appetizers or "meze".
